Former captain of Accra Hearts of Oak, Amankwah Mireku says the team is currently used by players as a platform of getting contract outside Ghana.
Hearts of Oak has been losing players key players recently to teams outside the shores of Ghana with the recent being talisman Patrick Razak not forgetting the likes of Winfred Cobbinah, Vincent Atingah, Kwame Kizito etc.
But according to the veteran footballer, Hearts of Oak is a bigger platform in Ghana and currently is used by players as a makeshift to get contract outside.

“Players are now making fun of Hearts of Oak, they are using the platform to gain a better contract”, he lamented during an interview with Otec FM.

He however continued by saying “the state of Hearts of Oak is more than a dead person, so I sent my condolence to all the supporters”.
