Former Ashantigold defender Richard Ocran has emphatically states that the Zambia league pays more than the Ghana Premier League.
The experienced defender joined Zambian giant Nkana FC on a year deal as a free agent after parting ways with Ashantigold.

According to Ocran, footballers plying their trade in the Zambian league earns much than those in the Ghana Premier league even though he has no idea of how much other players are earning in Zambia.

“The Zambia league pays more than the Ghana Premier league even though I don’t know much the other players are earning but I can say it pays ten times than that of Ghana”, he told Kwame Yeboah of Sekondi based Radio Silver.
Meanwhile, Richard Ocran has managed to qualify Nkana FC to next season’s CAF Champions league after placing second on the league log with 76 points.
