Former Minister of Transport Hon. Mike Hammah a committed member and supporter of the NDC, has cautioned the party to compose themselves enough and turn from their old ways, if not they will see defeat at their doorstep once again.

He added that power might slip right through their fingers if they continue in the pace at which they are preparing themselves. He made this statement in an interview with Angel FM monitored by kyfilla.com
Speaking to party supporters in the Northern Region, Former President Mahama said that it was the doing the Lord, because God wanted the citizens of Ghana to appreciate the NDC and the promises they were able to keep, for them to win the upcoming general elections in 2020
“Sometimes you may yearn for something and God will deny you. God is the only person who can explain why you are being denied. In 2016 we wanted power but God denied us because if we had been given Ghanaians would not have appreciated our achievements”, he said in Dagbanli.
‘Success is not instantaneous. Success is when opportunity meets preparation. We need to be solidly prepared and put in much effort if we really mean to oust the NPP in 2020’’, he advised.
The Ex Minister who worked with the Late Ex President Evans Mills’ administration put it to the party to hand over its leadership to men with foresight and combine grassroots into the core of the party’s political aim to showcase a firm foundation to face the NPP.
‘’The only way we can capture power again is by electing the right people, by giving our mandate to people with integrity and merging the grassroots with our political agenda. If we don’t do this, then it’s going to be difficult. We have the opportunity but we must be prepared.’’
