President of Proud United Mr. Jojo Duncan has said that the Normalization Committee maiden media interaction was unnecessary.
The Normalization Committee on Wednesday 17th October held a maiden media interaction which was aimed at briefing the media on the activities of the committee and also to clarify its mandate by the world football governing body FIFA.
The meeting ended with a brawl between a member of the committee and one of the journalist who attended the much anticipated meeting.
But the renowned football administrator Jojo Duncan believes the meeting in the first place was unnecessary.

According to the outspoken football administrator, the four-member committee should have held a meeting with club owners and administrators in the country before scheduling to meet the press.

“The meeting with the press in my view was unnecessary because club owners are the major stakeholders in the footballing business and therefore the committee should have organized a meeting with us first before meeting the media”, he told Sekondi based Radio Silver during an interview.

Meanwhile, the Normalization Committee have scheduled to meet club owners in the country on Friday, 19th October to discuss the way forward of football in the country.
