A JHS 3 pupil of West Ridge School, in Sekondi has stabbed his colleague pupil, a boy of 14years old to death.
The incident happened on Thursday, October 25 in the afternoon during school hours
The victim was reported to have mistakenly hit the the culprit with a pen before the culprit replied with multiple stabbing in the stomach and the ribs with a pair of sharp clippers believed to be hidden in his footwear he wore to school
He was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital but died shortly after being rushed to the theatre
A nurse who wants to remain anonymous tells Connect FM’s Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson remains of the deceased who is a Muslim, was taken away by the family for burial in accordance with Islamic custom but the Sekondi police rushed to the house late in the evening to take the body back to the mortuary for postmortem
The deceased would have been exactly fourteen today, Friday, October 26
The culprit who has been described by the School management Committee Chairman, Ernest Adenu as very recalcitrant is currently in police custody assisting in investigations
