The Ghana Football Association’s Normalization Committee has granted Kumasi Asante Kotoko the permission to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The comes following the club’s petition to the Normalization Committee to represent Ghana in the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The Normalization Committee on Friday 19th October, 2018 held a consultative meeting with Premier league and Division One clubs CEO and owners where a decision of ruling out Ghanaian clubs out of all CAF inter-club competitions next season was agreed upon.

However, Asante Kotoko, holders of the MTN FA Cup wrote that the Normalization Committee has no locust to take such decision and that, being the holders of the FA Cup makes them eligible to represent Ghana in the Confederation Cup since league season in the country has been put on hold.

The Normalization Committee after several consultations has therefore decided that Asante Kotoko can only partake in the CAF Confederation Cup only if they provide the details of their financial statues.
