The largest opposition party in Ghana, NDC has elected Dr. Hannah Bissiw as the National Women’s Organizer during the national delegates’ conference held on 27th October, 2018 at Pentecost Convention Center, Gomoah Feteh.

The former minister of Food and Agriculture amassed a total of 446 of the vote cast.
In other results, George Opare Addo had 523 to win as the National Youth Organizer. Maame Efua and Abigail Elorm both had 271 and 249 respectively to win the Deputy Women Organizers.
Hannah Bissiw beat the incumbent Hajia Zaynab Mahama to take up the position.
