Frank Quadwo Nyarko as popularly known as OTJ was born to Mr. Seth Nyarko and Mrs Stella Nyarko on December 26th, 1990 in Agona Swedru in the Central Region.
Had his basic education at Agona Abodom Methodist Basic School, continued to Eastern Regions’ Bishop Atto Junior High in Nsawam. OTJ then continued his education at Bompeh Senior High in Takoradi in the Western Region where he later gained admission to pursue Bachelor of Arts Education in Graphics and Design in the University of Education, Winneba
OTJ, during his days at the university joined the University campus radio as an Akan Newscaster as he desired in 2012, He was then given the opportunity to host the UEW Cypher, a competitive rap show which he well performed and progressed. His determination, experience and hard work won him a promotion to host the stations Drive Time Show called “Windy Drive” between the hours of 3pm to 6pm in 2013.
OTJ, then became the only student presenter to host the “Windy Drive” as the University’s drive time show and was loved and cheered by many, In 2015, OTJ won the NUGS Excellence Award for been the Best Student Presenter, an achievement he will never forget in his life. Right in school Frank Quadwo Nyarko held several offices like the Entertainment Committee Chairman for the Department of Art Education and Entertainment Committee Representative for Simpa Hall, all in 2014-2015 academic year,
OTJ, hosted the “Windy Drive” for three years as a student till he completed.
He then moved to Takoradi to give back what he has learned to society, with his broadcasting desire and all the experience gained hosting the drive time show in school, helped him secured a Drive time show host at Radio Silver 92.3 FM in Sekondi.
OTJ, has really learned and gained the experience needed to be at the top of his game, as 2nd Runner Up SEED Art competition (Schlumberger Excellence Educational Development) and a winner of the Worldwide Art competition, He is currently a Graphic Design tutor at Bompeh Senior High School where he schooled earlier and also the host of “Akwaaba Drive” on Radio Silver 92.3 FM.
