Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko opponent for the fist phase of the CAF Confederation Cup prelims has been announced.
Kotoko will represent Ghana in the next season of the CAF Confederation Cup as the holders of the last season’s FA Cup even though league season in the country has been put on hold.
Kyfilla.com can confirm that, the Porcupine Warriors will play the winner of the Cameroonian cup final between Lion Bless FC and Eding Sports FC.
Kotoko will host the eventual winner of the Cameroonian cup final in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign on Wednesday 28th November, 2018 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi and will travelled to Cameroon on December 5, 2018 for the second legged game.
Meanwhile, the Kumasi based side have submitted 27 players for the competition next season with Daniel Nii Adjei and Stephen Nyarko making the final squad whereas Yaw Frimpong was omitted as earlier reported by kyfilla.com.
Kotoko are in Takoradi for a 10 day camping and will engage Medeama Sporting Club in a friendly on Wednesday 14th November, 2018 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
