Accra Hearts of Oak have named their experienced midfielder Malik Akowuah as the interim captain for the team after it was stripped off from Fatau Mohammed.
Fatau was stripped off the captaincy after an ‘unpleasant’ comment he made about the team as earlier reported by kyfilla.com.
Akowuah will lead the Continental Club Masters in their friendly encounter against inter Allies on Sunday 11th November, 2018.
The encounter is to mark the 107th birthday and will be stage at the Tema Sports Stadium at exactly 3:00AM.
The encounter will also be the first test for Hearts of Oak newly appointed head coach cum Director of Football, Kim Grant who is on a three year deal.
