Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has denied reports of him joining Ghana Premier League side Ashantigold.
It was earlier circulating on the internet that, management of Ashantigold have opened negotiations with the former Black Starlets gaffer after resigning from his post at Asante Kotoko and he will soon pen a contract with the Obuasi based team.
The astute tactician has denied the reports and has urged Ghanaians to treat the reports as false.
“It’s never true that am joining Ashantigold”, he told Kumasi based Ash FM in an interview.
Fabin resigned as Asante Kotoko head coach after building a formidable side for the Kumasi based team.
Even though Fabin has managed the Black Starlets of Ghana for three times, he failed to win a medal for Ghana at the world cup when at the helm of affairs.
Asked on his thought on this, Fabin answered by saying ” I managed the Under 17 for 3 times but couldn’t win a medal at the world cup but i think the introduction of the MRI test is also part of the reason why we couldn’t win any medal at the world cup”.
