Member of Parliament for Sekondi Constituency Lawyer Egyapa Mercer has presented six footballs as a token to supports the Sekondi inter -community league.
The inter -community league is played by towns within and around Sekondi which is stage at the Sekondi Methodist park.
According to reports, the organizers pleaded with the MP to come to their aid as football to continue with the league became a problem for the organizers.
Hon. Egyapa Mercer who is also a legal practitioner, as a token dashed the organizers GHS 800 to purchase footballs to continue with the league.
The six footballs were presented to the organizers of the inter -community league led by Mr. Ebenezer Kwamena Thompson at the Sekondi Methodist park.
Lawyer Mercer after the presentation promised to continue supporting the organizers as the league get intense.
