Future Stars have won the STMA zone of the Western Region Club Owners Association tournament after beating Dolphins 7:6 on penalty shootouts.
Dolphins FC had the opener through Akwasi Adjei strike in the 2nd minutes of the first half but Mustapha Mamudu had the equalizer for Future Stars from a spot at the 33rd minutes in the first half.
Dolphins FC came back strong in the second half to another goal but all efforts went fruitless as Future Stars managed to keep their composure.
The game ended in 1:1 stalemate after the entire ninety minutes of the cagey encounter.

Speaking to Kyfilla.com after winning the ultimate, head coach of Future Stars, Mustapha Fudail believes his team had the best of performance on the day and truly deserves to win the tournament.
” We played very well today and I think we deserve to win the trophy”, he said.
The victory means Future Stars have joined VRA Youngsters who won the SHAMA zone and would be waiting for the winners of the various zones for the champion of champions.
