Ghanaian duo Nicholas Gyan and James Kotei urged Simba Sporting Club to a 4:1 victory against Mbabane Swallows from Swaziland in the CAF Champions League.
Simba hosted Swallows in the first leg of the prelims of the CAF Champions League today 28th November,2018 at the Benjamin Mkapa National Sports Stadium in Tanzania.
John Bocco had the opener for the Msimbadzi Reds in the 8th minutes after a beautiful assist from Nicholas Gyan but Swallows equalized courtesy a goal from Nzambe in the 23rd minutes.
Bocco doubled the lead for the defending champions of the Tanzanian league in the 33rd minutes before the sensational Meddie Kagere could get the third for Simba SC in the 84th minutes.
Clatous Chama ensured that, the return leg becomes a meer formality for coach Patrick Aussems side by adding a fourth goal in the 92nd minutes.
The game ended 4:1 in favor of Simba Sporting Club with the Ghanaian duo contributing with a spectacular performance.
The return leg is slated for Tuesday 4th December 2018 in Swaziland.
