Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) have emerged champions of the Takoradi zone Inter- School and Colleges Football Competition.
GSTS managed to beat T.T.I 5:6 on penalty shootouts after the game ended in a 1:1 stalemate.
Henry Nyarko had the opener for T.T.I in the first half but Henry Nkansah Attakora had the equalizer in the latter part of the first 45 minutes.
T.T.I came back strong in the second half to get the winner but all efforts went fruitless as G.S.T.S managed to keep their composure.
The game ended 1:1 after the entire minutes of play but GSTS managed to beat T.T.I 5:6 on penalty shootouts to clinch the ultimate.
Also Baidoo Bonsu were third in the competition after beating Saint Mary’s Boys Senior High School 3:1 .
In the girls category, Takoradi Senior High School were winners of the competition after beating T.T.I 7:8 on penalty shootouts.
Archbishop Porter were third after beating Mpohor Senior High 3:1 .
Emmanuella Azu Mantey from Archbishop Porters won the goal queen award with 5 goals in the girls category and Gladys Forson won the overall best player in the girls division.
T.T.I’ Henry Nyarko with 5 goals won the goal king award whereas Roderick Takyi from G.S.T.S won the Boys division’s best player.
