The chief of Essipong traditional Area Nana Kofi Abunah V is not happy with the current state of the stadium.
She says she remember she told the stakeholders of the stadium to come up with Maintenance team to check on the maintenance of the stadium but her words were rub away.
She has plead with the current government to help bring back the Sekondi Sports stadium back to it shape. Because a project like this we can not let it be deteriorate.
Also the 23 District Chief Executive of the western region with the national sports authority should be able to help maintain the stadium.
Finally she added that western region stakeholders should own the Stadium, it our property and is there that we Western will get small small things just to do setting things.
