The entire township of Lagos Town were all joy as Member of Parliament for Effia Constituency, Hon. Joseph Cudjoe cut sod for the construction of an ultramodern astro turf at the Lagos Town M/A Primary School.
Takoradi Shopping Mall Limited operators of the Takoradi Mall as part of their social responsibilities went into agreement to construct an ultramodern astro turf for the people in the Effia Constituency.
However, the sod cutting exercise was held today at the Lagos Town M/A Primary School to pave way for the construction of the much talked about project which is aimed at developing God given footballing talents in the Constituency.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Joseph Cudjoe who double as the Deputy Energy Minister believes the astro turf would help in developing footballing talent in the Constituency and urged the township to help in maintaining the project.
Present at the ceremony was the Director of the Takoradi Shopping Mall, Mr. Africanus Mensah and some delegation from the company, teaching and non teaching staff from the Lagos Town M/A,Primary School and other invited dignitaries.
