The Richard Addison Foundation (TRAF) has rehabilitated the unsatisfactory toilets facilities at Sulele Park ,Takoradi
Toilets facilities at Sulele for the past years has been in an atrocious states of which TRAF took it upon themselves to renovate the structures.
Two schools -Archbishop Amissah Junior High School, Monsignor Ansah Junior High School and the Greater Glory Temple Church per Kyfilla.com understanding would be the sole beneficiaries of the revamped structure.
One of the assistant headmistress of the school, Madam Hilda Prah during the hand-over of keys ceremony today January 17 expressed her gratitude to TRAF for their immense contribution to the school and urged other philanthropists to follow the steps of TRAF.
“We than.ked TRAF for such a wonderful exercise and as the one of the assistant headmistress for this school, I want to appeal that more of such projects are executed for our school”, she said.
She however urged staffs and students of the schools to help maintain the structure to enable more of such works to be done for the schools.
“Moreover I would urge all the teaching and non teaching staff together with the students to help maintain the structure for other philanthropists to do more for the school.
Also to add her voice was Adom TV’s Nsroma finalist, Blessing Alorvor – a student of Monsignor Ansah JHS who advocated herself to ensure the renovated structures are maintained.
TRAF is abbreviated from The Richard Addison Foundation which has been in existence since 2006 and still soaring higher. As the name goes, the Foundation is chaired by Mr. Richard Addison, a philanthropists in the Western region.
Mr. Addison was inspired to do benevolent exercises on every 22nd January- his birthday with the aim of engaging the less privileged in the society. He started sharing foods and souvenirs at the Takoradi market circle and later by God’s grace became a Foundation known for taking up bigger projects to improve the lives of people in the Western region at large.
TRAF is known for building a whole school block for the residents of Ahanta Abasa- near Kasawoarado in Takoradi and also giving out treated mosquito nets to over thousands of fishermen, the less privileged at Ahanta West with the aim of eradicating malaria which was on the rise in the metropolis.
