Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach C.K Akonnor has shower praises on the supporters of the team after their sounding victory over Coton Sport yesterday.
Kotoko whip Coton Sport de Garoura 2:1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium yesterday to book ticket to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time since 2008.
Speaking to the media after the victory, Akonnor who was surprised about the supporters massive attendance at the stadium yesterday believes the overwhelming support yielded Kotoko to qualify for the money zone of the competition.
” Kotoko supporters are wonderful and and their attendance at the stadium is unimaginable”, he said.
” They are the reason why the players showed enough prowess to qualify for the group stages.
” They should keep on supporting the team even at the difficult times.
