Westline Entertainment, the organizers of the prestigious Rigworld Training Center Western Music Awards have opened nominations for this year’s edition of the awards.
Kyfilla.com understands all musical works produced and or released from February 2 to December 31, 2018 are expected to be presented to the board for consideration in this year’s edition of the awards.
According to the Public Relations Officer of Westline Entertainment, Nana Kwesi Coomson, all artistes and their managers can pick up nomination forms from Foto Store at the Takoradi Shopping Mall, All Needs Supermarket and Food Chopsters in Takoradi or download forms via westernmusicawards.com . The deadline for submission of forms is March 1, 2019 at exactly 6:00PM.
The third edition of the Rigworld Training Center Western Music Awards is scheduled to come off on Saturday 11th May, 2019 at the Plush Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel.
In all 26 categories instead of the usual 23 have been grouped into two: the general and technical awards with three new categories Urban Gospel Song of the Year, Afropop Song of the Year and Brass Band of the Year included.
This year’s edition is tagged ‘ the best comes from the West’.
