Senegal whipped Ghana 2:0 today in the Total U-20 African Cup of Nations to book semi-final berth.
Youssouph Badji’s 11th and 45th minutes brace was enough for the Senegalese as they return to their hotel as 2:0 winners.
Even though Ghana returned to full dominance after the first half break, all efforts to find the net went fruitless.
The defeat means the Black Satellites have their semi-final qualification ambition in their own hands as they look forward to a victory in their last match against Mali.
Coach Jimmy Cobblah’ side will face Mali who also have chances of qualifying should they beat Ghana on Saturday February 9 at the Stade de Maradi at exactly 3:00PM local time.
