Kumasi Asante Kotoko reliable shot-stopper Felix Annan has entreats supporters of the club to fill the Baba Yara Sports Stadium today as the team face Zesco United in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupines will hunt for first victory in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages campaign against Zesco United today February 13 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Annan, who has been in poles for the Porcupines in their Africa campaign believes the supporters have played a major role in their Confederation Cup home matches and therefore has appealed to them to fill the stadium to its capacity to motivate the players fight for a first victory against the defending champions of the Zambia Premier League.
” We believe in our supporters and I know they will come to the stadium in their numbers as we hunt for a victory today”, he told the press during an interview.
” The change of kickoff time to 4:00PM instead of 1:00PM will also help us the more since at that time most of our fans have closed from various works and I know they will come and support us. They should only fill the stadium for us and we will deliver to their satisfaction.
” We’ve a task and that is to win convincingly against Zesco United today and we can only do that by the help of the supporters, they should come and cheer us up.
