Medeama Sporting Club are to terminate contract with veteran defender Amos Korankye, Kyfilla.com has learnt.
Reports from the camp of the club indicate that management of the Tarkwa based side have planned to part ways with the former Sekondi Hasaacas right-back due to lack of regular playing time.
The reports continue that management of the Yellow and Mauves would sit down with the defender latest by tomorrow to discuss their decisions with him before making it public.
Korankye had an illustrious debut season with Medeama SC under the tutulege of former gaffer Tom Strand but was later struggling to return back to regular playing time. This has continued to Samuel Boadu’s regime as the head coach.
With this, management of the club have no option than to part ways with the defender who once upon a time was on the wanted lists of Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak and even clubs abroad.
He joined Medeama SC from Sekondi Hasaacas last two seasons after having a spontaneous seasons with the 1931 club.
