Focus 1 Media- operators of Pluzz, Orange ,Beach and Spice 91.9 FM donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to inmates at the Sekondi Central Prison.
The exercise which forms part of Spice FM six years anniversary saw the CEO of the media firm, Mr. Kwame Adu-Mante, General Manager and the entire staff visiting the inmates today February 14, 2019.
Food and assorted drinks were in abundance for 830 inmates,who ate and drank to their satisfaction and some taking shot with their favorite presenters, DJs and other staff members.
A donation exercise was followed after the party. Some of the items donated include soaps, packs of toothpastes and brushes, bunch of slippers among others.
Speaking to pressmen after the mind-blowing exercise, Mr. Kwame Adu-Mante noted that Spice 91.9FM, a subsidiary of Focus 1 Media is six years old and the exercise forms part of their birthday anniversary.
Kwame Adu – Mante, who has been doing this act for the past nine years encouraged the inmates not to be down-to-earth but remain strong since their present situation would surely pass away and also stated that Focus 1 as a media hub with its foundation in the Western region have them at heart and will continue to visit them as and when the need arises.
The inmates also expressed their profound gratitude to the media firm for their overwhelming gesture, asked for God’s blessings on Spice 91.9 FM and also pleaded with other philanthropists, organizations to do same since they didn’t wish for their present situations.
