Ghana International James Agyekum Kotei capped a five star performance in Simba Sporting Club narrow victory over arch rivals Young Africans today.
The Msimbadzi Reds whipped the Yangas at the Benjamin Mkapa National Sports Stadium 1:0 courtesy Meddie Kagere’s 71st minutes strike.
James Kotei proved why coach Patrick Aussem fielded him in the cagey encounter and was the reason why Meddie Kagere could torment the defense of the Yangas.
His outstanding performance in the 102th Karioko derby today contributed alot in the narrow victory over the league leaders.
The victory means Simba SC are now fourth on the Mainlands Premier League log with 39 points.
