Kumasi Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman, Professor Dr. Kwame Kyei threw dinner for playing body and the technical team on Sunday night.
The bond strengthen dinner held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi for the entire playing body, technical team and other officials was to ginger the club ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup duels against Nkana FC.
The dinner was also a sign of saying thank you from the Executive Chairman to the playing body and the entire Kotoko team for making it to the CAF Confederation Cup group stages for the first time since 2008.
Kotoko on Saturday 23rd February, 2019 will continue their quarter-final qualification hunt against Nkana FC at the Nkana Stadium before hosting the Zambian giant on the following week in Kumasi.
Coach C.K Akonnor and his charges after their sounding victory against Zesco United last Wednesday are third in the group and believes a positive result in Zambia will lit up their chances of making it to the next stage.
