A Prepaid Vendor at Takoradi has threatened to sue a radio station for a debt accumulated to the tune of GHS 12,000 for a period of 3 months.
Maintaining a business has been a very difficult thing in an era where the radio business is overly crowding Sekondi-Takoradi, the twin city, the capital of western region which is less than a million population.
We can reveal that the station is one of the topmost urban radio brands in the region adding to already existing radio brands in a very promising and loud manner, but has been heckled to leave behind the fame they once gathered.
According to our checks, some individuals, who are media personnel and a close pal to the business owner intervened to salvage the situation for the urban station. The lady, who’s the owner of the prepaid business has assured some grace period and expect her money back within the stipulated time agreed on.
Funnily, according to an eye witness who was at the premise during the heated brawl, the owner even added that she’s going to call on Skyy Power Fm’s Breakfast show to report the urban station whose location is within the heart of Takoradi.
It’s very disheartening to learn of such bereft happened to a once promising station that was overly popular during the Christmas festive.
