Nkana FC defender Richard Ocran has extended his contract with the club for two more years which ends in 2021, Kyfilla.com has learnt.
The Ghana International initially inked a two-year deal with the Kitwe based club but was only given one out of the two years to prove the management right.
Ocran has quickly established himself as an important figure for the Zambian club, capping 37 out of 38 league matches last season with four supporters player of the match awards as well as a Barclays FA Cup and the Zambian Community Shield to his credit.
The former Ashantigold SC experienced defender’s contract was due to expire next month but Nkana have extended it to 2021.
He joined the Zambian side as a free agent after he was released by Ashantigold SC. He has previously played for Amidaus, Hasaacas, Dreams FC, Ashgold and also had a stint in Cyprus.c
Ocran is expected to shield the defense of the Zambian giant in their CAF Confederation Cup match-three encounter against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
