Kumasi Asante Kotoko sensational goal poacher Songne Yacouba has reacted to a rumour of him switching camp to the Zambia Premier League.
It was reported in the media that, Zambian giants ZESCO United and Nkana FC have expressed interest in securing his service following his spectacular performance against the two clubs in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup group stages games with Asante Kotoko.
According to the Burkinabe international, Asante Kotoko is one of the biggest teams in Africa and wants to leave a mark in the club before switching camp to any other team.
” Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs on the continent and I have no plan of leaving now”, he said.
” I want to leave a mark in the club before moving to another team but as at now am not leaving Kotoko.
Yacouba was a delight to watch during the two clashes and his sublime free-kick gave Kotoko a consolation during their encounter with Nkana FC in Kitwe.
He is expected to continue his fine-form during their match-four encounter against Nkana on Sunday March 3, 2019 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
