Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan says the playing body of the Porcupines are poised to win their two remaining matches in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
According to Annan, winning the remaining group stage matches will enable the team to qualify to the next stage of the competition which is their prime target.
” We want to win the rest of our matches even though playing against Zesco United in Zambia will be difficult”, Annan told Asempa FM.
He also disclosed that Kotoko will be going into their match-five encounter against Sudanese side Al Hilal in Kumasi on Sunday 10th March, 2019 with a winning mentality just as what they did to humiliate Nkana FC last Sunday.
” We’re going into Sunday’s game against Al-Hilal FC with the same mentality because we are bent on winning again this weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors will come face-to-face with Sudanese giant Al Hilal on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi before travelling to Zambia to play Zesco United in the last match of the group stages.
