Supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are currently sitting on a tenterhooks as winger Emmanuel Gyamfi joins the injury lists.
Gyamfi just after getting the second goal for the Porcupines in the match-four encounter with Nkana FC had an injury where he didn’t continue the game on last Sunday.
Even though the medical report is not out yet, head coach C.K Akonnor, strongly believes the winger won’t make it in their next game against Sudanese giant Al Hilal Omdurman on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
” I’m yet to get the report from our medical team but it doesn’t look good for Emmanuel Gyamfi”, he told Otec FM.
” He could miss the game against Al-Hilal but I have already started planning life without him in the Sunday’s game.
Gyamfi joins Maxwell Baakoh who aggravated his shin injury and could miss action for the next six months.
