The GFA Normalization Committee has supported Asante Kotoko with US$ 30,000 ahead of their do or die duel against Zesco United on Sunday.
The Porcupines will wrestle with the Ndola based club in the last group game at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium for the three maximum points.
The Normalization Committee disclosed the kind gesture on Wednesday after the team left the Kotoka International Airport for Ethiopia enroute to Zambia for the must-win encounter.
A statement read: ”The NC is following the GFA tradition of supporting Ghanaian clubs who represent the country in continental club competitions.
”This gesture is consistent with the greater vision of the NC to ensure that Ghanaian clubs in general thrive under their watch.”
Asante Kotoko, the only Ghanaian representative in the CAF inter-club competition need to amass the three maximum points to secure a qualification with the hope that Al Hilal will also smashed Nkana FC in Sudan on the same day.
