Ex- Black Stars deputy coach Maxwell Konadu has denied interest in returning back to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Reports in the media disclosed that , the former Wa All Stars gaffer has been contacted by the management of Asante Kotoko for a possible return after their CAF Confederation Cup exit.
A deep throat relating to Konadu has denied the tactician talking to the management of the Kumasi based team for a possible return to the most successful club in Ghana’s football history.
According to the deep throat, the 46- year old, this morning disclosed to him that, there is no ongoing talks between him and Asante Kotoko for a possible return even though he is reported to have been sacked as the Black Stars second assistant coach.
Maxwell Konadu was appointed as the head coach for the Porcupine Warriors on May 3, 2012 where he guided the team to their 22nd league trophy and secured 2013 CAF Champions League qualification. He later left the GLO Premier League champions to serve as a deputy Black Stars coach under James Akwasi Appiah.
