Following their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup, Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have decided to part ways with six of their players for poor outputs.
Close source at the camp of the club has revealed to Kumasi based Light FM that, six players have been penned down on the transfer list of the club.
Former T.P Mazembe experienced midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei, Frederick Boateng, Obed Owusu and Jordan Opoku are reported to be on the list.
Surprisingly, former Medeama Sporting Club reliable shot-stopper, Muntari Tagoe who joined the Porcupines as a second choice goalkeeper to Felix Annan alongside Guinean international Naby Keita are included.
According to the report, the six players are currently at the club’s Secretariat to discuss with the management their future at the club.
Frederick Boateng only made an appearance for the Porcupine Warriors during their CAF Confederation Cup campaign whilst Muntari Tagoe sat at the bench throughout the campaign.
Naby Keita also failed to make an appearance for the team during the team’s Africa campaign.
Meanwhile, Daniel Nii Adjei, Obed Owusu and Jordan Opoku who enjoyed bit of playing time in the CAF Confederation Cup have been included in the list due to their age.
Kotoko finished third in a group of Al Hilal, Nkana FC and Zesco United and are currently preparing for the Normalization Committee Special Competition which start this weekend.
