Former Black Stars full back, John Paintsil is now the rightful owner of Ghana Premier League side, Wa All Stars.
According to a statement making rounds in the media, the former Ghana Football Association boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi who was the owner of the Wa based club has sold all his interests in the club to a group led by the former Black Stars defender.
Nyantakyi resigned as the Ghana Football Association President and CAF first Vice President after being involved in scandalous behaviors in the Anas Aremayaw Anas expose, facing a ban by FIFA to stay away from all football related activities, thus selling Wa All Stars.
The new administrators of the club, have however, confirmed their participation in the Normalization Committee Special Competition, debunking earlier reports of pulling out of the competition.
