Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to appoint former defender Richard Manu as their assistant coach.
According to report, Management of the Porcupine Warriors have held talks with the former defender to assist head coach C.K Akonnor at the dugout.
A close source at the team has revealed to Kumasi based Oyerepa FM that, Manu popularly known as ” Ninety, Ninety” is expected to arrive in Kumasi lastest by next week to conclude the deal.
The 47-year old currently holds CAF license B coaching certificate and he is expected to replicate the ideas and experienced gained when officially appointed to mount the role.
He joined Kotoko as a left back in 2007 after training with the club during it training tour in Germany.
Manu also had an invitation to the Black Stars in 2008 during a friendly with Mexico on March 26, 2008.
