Ghanaian forward Ernest Asante is excited after making his official Black Stars debut against Kenya in the last 2019 AFCON qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana whipped the Harambee Stars to lead the group F table ahead of the prestigious tournament in Egypt courtesy Caleb Ekuban’ late strike.
Asante was introduced into the game in the last fifteen minutes but wowed Ghanaians with an enviable performance within the few minutes he played.
The once upon a time, most fastest footballer on planet earth, in an interview with Kyfilla.com after the game yesterday, expressed his delight in donning the national team colours and stated that he will work harder to get a cut in Ghana’s final squad for the tournament.
” I’m super excited to play for the national team. This is my official debut game and fortunately for me, we won by a goal to nil”, he said.
” I’m only hoping to make the squad for the AFCON, which simply means I need to work harder.
Asante joined United Arab Emirates side Al Jazira on a fee of one million euros after helping FC Nordsjaelland to finished third on the Danish League, capping 66 matches with 21 goals.
