Head coach of the Black Meteors, Ibrahim Tanko has disclosed that, his side have received the worse of reception since their arrival in Libreville.
According to Tanko, the team had received the worse of reception since their arrival in Libreville but believes the intimidations won’t affect the playing body in any way.
“We’ve received the worse of reception in Gabon since our arrival. Even the bus given to us is an issue but it won’t affect the players in the game”, he said.
Ghana were locked up in the air for almost two hours in Libreville due to bad weather and had to land in nearest country, Cameroon before refueling to Gabon. The team had their first training yesterday and are poised for the clash this afternoon at the Stade Monedan in Libreville at 2:30PM.
Meteors hammered their age-mates from Gabon 4:0 in the first leg of the qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium and have to concede five unanswered goals before being eliminated from the qualifiers.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko made only a change in his squad that humiliated Gabon in the first qualifying game by replacing Benjamin Tetteh with SC Paderborn 07 forward Bernard Terkpetey.
