Ibrahim Sanah’s 40th minutes strike secured a point for Sekondi Hasaacas at Swedru Park against All Blacks in their opening game of the Normalization Committee’ Special Competition.
The Giants of the West started the encounter on a disappointing note with All Blacks dominating possession and creating glaring opportunities.
Hasaacas begun the campaign with Thomas Aboagye, Daniel Egyin, Yahaya Seidu and William Enchill completing the defense while John Koomson, Ibrahim Sanah and Joseph Dinku as the midfielders with Isaac Mensah, George Ekow Annan and David Nyankum leading the attack with John K. Arthur in poles.
The host started the campaign on a higher note, knocking on the shaky defense of the 1997 Ghana Premier League Champions to get the opener.
All Blacks kept on pressuring Hasaacas who have just settled in the game around the twenty minutes, and eventually had the deadlock opened in the 22nd minutes.
It took the 1931 side the 40th minutes to register the equalizer courtesy Ibrahim Sanah’s strike from a short corner, a combination between Thomas Aboagye and Isaac Mensah which was calmly controlled and curled perfectly into the net of the home side by the classy midfielder.
