The Referees Association of Ghana has banned it member Emurana Salifu ten (10) years for involving in scandalous behavior in Ghanaian ace undercover journalist Anas Aremayaw Anas ‘Number 12’ expose which exposed series of match fixing scandals in Ghana and on the African continent.
The renowned match official who also double as the assemblyman for Prestea was among the 14 referees caught in the video but exonerated after an investigation was mounted on the overall 53 referees that were caught in camera.
But after thorough deliberations on the of the submissions and recommendations made by the Disciplinary Committee of RAG, the Executive Committee has found the referee culpable leading to his ten years suspension from all football related activities.
