Karela United once again defeated Accra Hearts of Oak at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park today with 1-0 victory in the week three of the Normalization Committee’ Special Competition.
Hearts of Oak were humiliated 3-1 in their last visit to Ayinase courtesy William Opoku Mensah’s stunning hat trick.
The Ayinase based side continued to prove why the CAM Park is touted as a fortress by defeating struggling Hearts of Oak side today with Solomon Sarfo Taylor’s brilliant goal.
The defeat means, Hearts of Oak who were spectacular in the off season, have been beaten in their last two matches in the competition with the last defeat to Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak ended the first round of the group matches with three points after three matches.
