Bankroller of Future Stars Academy, Mustapha Capito has urged the GFA Normalization Committee to scrap the payment of officiating fees on juvenile clubs to eradicate corruption in the country’s football business.
According to the astute football administrator in the Western region, the payment of officiating fees is the genesis of bribery and corruption in the Ghanaian football business and since the Normalization Committee has been tasked to normalized football in the country, scrapping the payment of officiating fees will also contribute to the eradication of rottenness in the country’s football.
” I want the Normalization Committee to scrap the payment of officiating fees on the juvenile clubs because it’s a burden”, he exclusively told Kyfilla.com.
” The Normalization Committee have to do something about it because it’s the genesis of bribery and corruption in the game and I know what am talking about as an administrator.
” Imagine a referee receives his/her officiating fee from the home side, do you think he/she will betray the home team..??? No, because we’re humans same as the referees and they also have conscience.
” They must do something about it before it’s too late other than that, they will finished their works but we will never see any improvement in our game”, he concluded.
