The Western regional Minister, Honorable Kobby Okyere Darko deepened his passion for sports as he was spotted at the stands during Skyy FC clash against Star Madrid in NC Special Competition.
Skyy FC whipped the Nana Appiah Mensah’s owned Star Madrid FC 2:0 in the week five of the Normalization Committee’ Special Competition at the Daboase St. Martins Park.
The Member of Parliament for Takoradi Constituency who is also a great contributor to sports development in the Western region watched full-time action of the cagey encounter.
The minister who was impressed with the performance of the Daboase based side just after the game, took time to congratulate the team for an impressive showdown and cautioned the playing body to take their training seriously. He however rewarded the playing body with an undisclosed amount for their overwhelming display against Star Madrid.
Skyy FC after their victory today will face off in-form Proud United side in the week six of the competition.
