Proud United caretaker coach Winfred Dormon has disclosed that his ambitions is to lift the Normalization Committee’ Special Cup with the team to propel them to represent Ghana in Africa next season.
Proud United whipped Sekondi Hasaacas by 1:0 courtesy Andrews Cobbinah Mensah’s strike in the 10th minutes of the game on Sunday afternoon in week five of the Normalization Committee’ Special Competition at the Gyandu Park, Sekondi.
Speaking to Kyfilla.com after the victory, Dormon stated emphatically that, their his target is to win the competition with the Division One League outfit.
“I’m happy we won against Hasaacas who were not a bad side today. My target is to win the competition and we are on course”, he said.
“If you look at our performance in our last five games, it shows we are ready for the task which is to win the competition.
The former Dreams FC trainer however cautioned his players to do away with complacence to help achieve their goal.
” I just want my players to do away with complacence because it’s only complacence that can stop us from achieving our aim”, he added.
Proud United are currently unbeaten in their last five matches, amassing all fifteen points in the Special Competition.
