The Senior Women’s national team of Ghana, Black Queens will pitch camp in Cape Coast ahead of the 2019 West African Football Union tournament which will be stage in Ivory Coast.
The team are determined to defend the ultimate and Management believes pitching camp in the capital of the Central Region is the right decision.
Ghana clutched host Ivory Coast to a 1:0 defeat during the maiden edition of the tournament in 2017 to secure the title for the very first time.
Coach Mercy Tagoe Quaicoe is expected to lead a 25- member squad for the camping at Cape Coast.
Meanwhile, the tournament has been scheduled to come off on May 8, 2019 in Ivory Coast and the Queens are expected to clinch the ultimate for the second consecutive times.
