The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kobby Okyere Darko Mensah has finally handed GHC 5,000 cash to the Management of Hasaacas Ladies.
The Minister promised to support the team with a whopping GHC 5,000 for winning the NC Special Women’s Cup after beating Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3:2 in the final at the El Wak Sports Stadium.
The Minister who remains a key architect to sports development in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, promised during the presentation of the NC Special Women’s Cup trophy by the team at his office in Sekondi.
However, after weeks of waiting for the money, Management of the NC Special Cup winners have confirmed receiving the money from the minister.
Sekondi Eleven Wise who were also promised an undisclosed amount by the Minister to support their centenary anniversary have also received theirs, Kyfilla.com understands.
