The Black Queens of Ghana head coach, Mercy Tagoe Quarcoe has named a final 20- Women squad for the 2019 WAFU tournament slated for May this year in Ivory Coast.
The initial 30 provisional squad was pruned down to 25 and after two preparatory tests of which the team won by 28:0, the final 20 Women squad for the upcoming WAFU Zone B tournament has been announced.
Holders of the NC Special Women’s Cup, Hasaacas Ladies had their duo Evelyn Badu and Janet Egyir included in the final squad for the tournament which has Ghana as the defending Champions.
