Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies sensation, Evelyn Badu was on target as the Ghana Senior National Women’s team, Black Queens whipped Mankessim Indomitable Lions, a male U-15 side in the Central region 3:0 in a friendly test today at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The midfielder justified why coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoe included her name in the final 20 Women squad for the WAFU tournament in Ivory Coast, with a brilliant second goal after Ampem Darkoa Ladies experienced midfielder, Grace Asantewaa has gotten the opener for the Queens.
Also to add her name on the scoring card was Northern Ladies and FIFA U-17 World Cup topscorer, Abdulai Mukarama who had the last goal in the encounter for the Black Queens.
The defending Champions of the WAFU Zone B tournament are preparing feverishly for the upcoming tournament slated for May, this year in Ivory Coast.
The team have won all their three friendly matches at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium without conceding, scoring as much as 31 goals.
