Sekondi based Radio Silver 92.3 FM has been closed down on Friday, May 10, 2019 by the National Communications Authority, Kyfilla.com has noticed.
According to report in the media, a delegation from the NCA alongside an armed military men stormed at the premises of the station earlier this afternoon, ordering for an immediate closure whiles on air.
Reports says, the Simgwado Broadcasting Company Limited, the operators of Sekondi based Radio Silver 92.3 FM was closed down today due to invalidity of authorisation.
But speaking to kyfilla.com, the General Manager of the 92.3 dial, Bless Borkloe confirmed the sudden closure of the station by the NCA but explained that ” it’s a technical reason at the NCA which has led to the sudden closure but we are hoping for a feedback on Monday”.
