Ghana’s Women’s 4x100m relay team has secured a qualification in the 2019 International Association of Athletics Federations World Championship in Doha, Qatar.
The team made up of Persis, Hor, Flings and Gemma came 7th in the final in a time of 44.77secs at the Yokohama 2019.
Even though, there’s more room for improvement, the quartet have secured a slot for Ghana in the 4x100m relay in Doha 2019 championship.
Meanwhile, the seventieth edition of the IAAF World Championship is scheduled to be held between September 27- October 6, 2019 at the capital of Qatar, Doha at the renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium.
